My personal favorite is a certain brand of black bean, almost soy saucey tteokbokki which comes with these special tteokbokki cylinders with holes running through, that make it really good at carrying sauce and also give it a soft but still chewy texture. I combine that with either velveted beef slices mixed in since they’re nice with the sauce, or a rare steak if there’s a good price
